Gretchen Schodde, ARNP-BC, MN, FNP, is the Founding and Executive Director of Harmony Hill Retreat Center. The mission of Harmony Hill is to improve the quality of life for those affected by cancer, providing support and resources that inspire renewal. She co-facilitates retreats to the sacred Isle of Iona, Scotland. Gretchen is a Family Nurse Practitioner, a former UW Assistant Professor, and one of the first Nurse Practitioners in the state of Washington, with a lifelong commitment to community health and wellness. Gretchen is the founder of The NorthWest Center for Nurse Renewal. She is an advisor and certified educator for 'Embracing The Wisdom of Nursing', A wise mentor and Sister of Heart & Spirit. Kathlene Tellgren, RN, CEN, HN-BC, Has worked in a variety of health care settings and has over twenty years of nursing practice in trauma and emergency settings. She co-facilitates retreats to the sacred Isle of Iona, Scotland. Her decades of holistic nursing practice and personal journey offer a depth of wisdom and insight as she empowers nurses to discover and renew a sense of the heart and spirit of their work. She provides a safe presence for the gathering of nurses that honors the importance of the call to serve and offers an opportunity for caring of self and others. She models a way of appreciating what gives meaning to the lives of patients and at the same time reconnects nurses with the meaning of their work, of their healing and of their own wholeness. Kathlene is a primary facilitator for 'Embracing The Wisdom of Nursing' and co-visionary for many of the programs of Embracing Wisdom.
  
Sandra Jennings, Owner of 'Fresh from The Garden' on Kauai. Sandy is a master chef, much sought after caterer and inventive creator of island food products. She has been delighting residents and visitors on Kauai for over 25 years. Sandy has broad experience and thorough knowledge of food that is both delicious and healthy.  Any food preference or diet can be accommodated.   With access to fresh, local, organic Kauai ingredients, Sandy provides food that is nourishing for heart, body & spirit. The 'Fresh From The Garden' commercial kitchen is where many Kauai food artisans craft their products. You can find Sandy's products at stores across the island. Sandy's Kauai home is a lush paradise with gardens, fruit trees and well loved chickens. Sandy's warm presence and shining Aloha Spirit will be a delight in her role as co-facilitator/creator of the Kauai programs. 
 
davidji is an internationally recognized meditation teacher, life guide, and public speaker. His purpose in life—known in Sanskrit as dharma—is to connect people all over the world with the timeless teachings and translations of Deepak Chopra MD and David Simon MD the co-founders of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing—an oasis of balance, healing, and transformation. He is the author of several books, articles, podcasts, and guided meditations. He developed the framework for the Chopra Center’s 21-day meditation challenge which is an easy first step for those on the path to Primordial Sound Meditation and is the host of Chopra Center Radio, a powerful platform for learning about meditation, Ayurveda, yoga, and emotional healing. davidji is a delightful advisor, colleague & beloved friend. Koren Paalman BA, MS. is Iyengar yoga certified at the Intermediate Junior level and has been teaching yoga since 1995. She holds a BA in Psychology from UCLA and a MS in Education from USC. Since 2002 Koren has been blessed with the opportunity to study for a month or two every other year under the direct guidance of BKS Iyengar and his daughter Geeta. Koren teaches at Yoga Works, as well as the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles. She strives to infuse each class with enthusiasm, humor, compassion and intelligence leaving students energized, refreshed, motivated and restored. Having survived the death of a loved one, Koren developed her own consulting company, Conscious Grieving™ to be of service to people of all ages in grief and to those supporting people in grief. Through individual consultations, group sessions, workshops, retreats and educational materials, she offers confidential compassionate grieving support, letting go rituals, opportunities for creative expression, appropriate coping skills and grief specific yoga sequences. Gayle Wilde MA. Gayle has had much experience in the realm of counseling, case work and volunteer management.  She has counseled drug addicts, adolescents in crisis, parents at risk of child abuse, as well as domestic violence survivors and perpetrators. From these experiences and more, she has learned to "accept what is" and to be present with human suffering. Currently she is a volunteer coordinator for a hospice. Part of her work is to pass this learning on to those she teaches and works with.  She is also a writer, a spiritual advisor and a reiki practitioner.  Currently, she is at work on a book about The Journey - an allegorical work concerning the call to follow one's spiritual path.  She has known Leonie since before dirt was invented. Thus she has the Advisory Council title/position of: 'Person most likely to get a call at 2am from Leonie when____' (fill in the blank with lifetime moments of crisis, brilliant insight or a really good party :)
